Modern industrial decor has been popular for some time, however, it is just taking on new life among bathroom trends. This is a wonderful example of how to incorporate this style of decor in a bathroom. The warm, dark hues complement the large Lunar mirror that is set atop a copper-finish glass wall panel. Architectural pipe-style fixtures accent the space nicely.
As bathrooms increasingly become about more than just personal hygiene, comfort takes the forefront as a big consideration. Adding a comfortable chair to the space is another one of the hot bathroom trends. It’s ideal for relaxing or for taking a seat while getting ready.
If stone isn’t really your thing but a full wood tiled shower isn’t what you want either, consider using different option altogether. Just because your wood tile has a pattern doesn’t mean you can’t pick another patterned tile to go with it. Try marble against that wood. You just might be surprised how chic and contemporary it looks.
Laying subway tiles can be pretty tricky. Since the individual tiles are small compared to other types, there’s obviously more room for error. Lining up the tiles on adjacent walls is not exactly a walk in the park especially if you’re also installing subway tiles on wall niches, a shower bench or the outside of a tub. This shower, for instance, is all covered in subway tiles, all except for the floor.
