Wood and stone are a popular combination for rustic bathrooms but sometimes that can leave your space feeling dark and dreary. When you’re trying to create a spa experience in your bathroom, dark and dreary are the last things you want. However, you can still use wood and stone tiles in your shower as an accent and still achieve a sleek rustic look.
Bathrooms by their very nature typically involve a variety of shapes, what with the sink, tub, shower, toilet, and vanity. That’s why a large chunky circle mirror like this one might be a fantastic option – it ties in with the geometry and color scheme of the room (not to mention sophisticated style) while adding a nice contrast to the lines of the vanity and reflected shower. I like how a circular mirror breaks up the tall backsplash here as well. A fabulous statement piece, this.
