In case you hadn’t realized, your wood tile doesn’t have to be on the walls of your shower. When the rest of your home has beautiful wood flooring, think how cool it would look to have a matching wood tile on the floor of your shower, no matter what your style is. You’ll definitely be winning the bathroom decor game.
If you’re thinking an entire shower tiled with wood looking tile might be a little too dark, take a tip from other room decor. Give your shower it’s own statement wall. Especially if all your tile is white and plain, a wood tile statement wall will give your bathroom the pop it needs without overwhelming the space.
Bathrooms by their very nature typically involve a variety of shapes, what with the sink, tub, shower, toilet, and vanity. That’s why a large chunky circle mirror like this one might be a fantastic option – it ties in with the geometry and color scheme of the room (not to mention sophisticated style) while adding a nice contrast to the lines of the vanity and reflected shower. I like how a circular mirror breaks up the tall backsplash here as well. A fabulous statement piece, this.
This detailed cut-out frame in happy yellow adds color in a bathroom full of natural and neutral elements. The dark wood vanity and appearance of grey stone countertop make a somber statement, which is why this mirror stuffed with life and personality is a delightful exclamation point. (Did you notice how the knob handles match the yellow as well? Lovely.)
