This clean-cut space doesn’t want (or need!) a lot of frills, which is why these tiltable, modern mirrors are a perfect fit. Simply framed in a stainless steel, the his-and-hers mirrors add dimension to a white (or otherwise monochromatic) bathroom. The mirrors don’t draw a lot of attention to themselves; rather, they reflect a ton of light and whiteness and thus highlight other pops of color in the space.
Pedestal sinks have been around for a long time, but they are steadily becoming one of the new bathroom trends. These types of sinks are ideal for small bathrooms, powder rooms or larger bathrooms where you want to make a style statement. Designers are creating styles that are as much sculpture as they are sinks. The Controverso sink is a block of marble, scored by a milling machine, and then refined by an artisan to create a textural, natural fixture.
This detailed cut-out frame in happy yellow adds color in a bathroom full of natural and neutral elements. The dark wood vanity and appearance of grey stone countertop make a somber statement, which is why this mirror stuffed with life and personality is a delightful exclamation point. (Did you notice how the knob handles match the yellow as well? Lovely.)
Are you super in love with neutral wood tile? Embrace it! Mix your wood tile pieces with marble tile pieces in matching shades. Also, when you’ve tiled out your shower, go ahead and cover the rest of the bathroom too. You’ll create the most peaceful serene room in the whole house.
