This design is perfect for a family kitchen because while the cooktop and sink are in the island for open access at any time, the rest of the working elements and appliances can be hidden behind the secretive doors. When cooking, you can leave them open, revealing everything you might need, but then you can close them before guests arrive, presenting a sleek and clean look. It’s the best of both the working and hidden kitchen styles.
Pull from the left or from the right….it doesn’t really matter in this case. Each of these corner drawers has two handles, a choice which is partially aesthetic and partially practical. The drawers feature 90 degree angles which allow them to perfectly mold around the corner. Sure, they look funny and unusual and not very spacious but they actually allow you to use every bit of space under your kitchen counter.
It might be a stain that gets you there but if your kitchen produces major modern vibes, consider installing a black wood floor underneath it all. Inevitably, it will really show off your stainless steel appliances and white accents. Plus, being a neutral color, you can style the rest of your kitchen however you please.
Swing out corner cabinets are a good way to maximize the storage capabilities of a kitchen. In this traditional kitchen you can see a set of wire shelves, some installed inside the cabinet, under the counter, and some attached to the door. This combination offers easy access to all the shelves and their contents.
