Originally, the tiles used on the walls of the NY subway stations were white with a glossy glazed finish and thin grout lines and while the pattern and the overall style were preserved as such, there’s now a wide variety of colors to choose from. This shower, for instance, features dark green subway tiles which contrast with the wooden flooring and frame.
Mirrors are useful ad nice and we like having them in the house because they show us and also the things around. That is why mirrors are more than just some surfaces that reflect our face, allowing us to see and check if we look OK or a certain dress or coat looks nice on us. Mirrors can also be used for home decoration. A beautiful and large mirror can change a hallway or entryway for example almost completely. This Angel Wall Mirror For Bathroom Or Entryway illustrates my words in a suggestive way. It is large and simple in design, but it can have a strong effect if places opposite a window or a door, as it reflects light and so it creates the feeling or space, making a room look brighter and larger.
For those who have a large space, adding an island is an unexpected way to create a useful and stylish bathroom. It only makes sense when you think about how a kitchen island increases the functionality of a kitchen. Why not do the same thing in the bathroom? This island from Inda has a marble surfacel and a modern chrome base. The piece is highlighted by the walls, which are covered in an amazing mosaic tile that is flecked with metallic accents, adding dimension.
A more practical option is to only install subway tiles on the shower’s walls. This way it’s easier to line up the tiles to create a continuous pattern across the walls. Subway tiles give the shower a classy and at the same time simple look as timeless as they are.
